Biography

Born and raised in Toronto.

FOR SOULPEPPER: Director: Incident at Vichy, Happy Place, Eurydice, Twelve Angry Men, La Ronde. Soulpepper Training Company.

OTHER THEATRE: Alan has directed across Canada and internationally. In addition to his work on established texts, he has brought over 20 new Canadian plays to the stage, including acclaimed premieres of works by Kate Hennig, Erin Shields, Pamela Mala Sinha, Andrew Kushnir, Hannah Moscovitch, Brendan Gall, Nicolas Billon, and his own work: The Unforgetting.
